burlabox los invita a armar su monito

burlabox, The globetrotting paper toy los invita a armar su monito, descargándolo desde la página http://www.burlabox.altervista.org/ para que le tomen una fotos desde su ciudad y se las envíen.

instructions

He’s travelling around the world. He’s been photographed everywhere.

He’s Burlabox, the funny paper toy designed by atelier Alessio Blanco and inspired by Burlamacco’s mask.
Burlabox is easily available and for free: everyone can download the template from the website (
www.burlabox.altervista.org ) and simply cropping the edges, folding and pasting can obtain it.
And when you have your Burlabox, you can photograph it around the world and send the images to see them published with many others.

Burlabox is much more than a paper toy: it’s a project that integrates together art, design and communication.

Its design comes from a careful research that simplifies the form keeping the essence of the mask inspired by.
Burlabox has a simple and intuitive constructive process that becomes a game through tools and materials for everyone.

The rapid spread of the project is the result of non-conventional communication strategies such as viral marketing and guerrilla marketing that merged with social networks have demonstrated their effectiveness.

People have an important role: they started the game bringing Burlabox around the world doing small photographic stories that narrate places, traditions, experiences and where Burlabox become the protagonist.
Burlabox testifies the existence of a community of people, spread around the world and with different culture, history, traditions and interests, but that shares a common approach to social relations: people who loves to go around the world but still appreciate small things.
